WSOP 2020: Notizie ufficiali
Il Direttore Esecutivo delle World Series of Poker annuncia che l'intera kermesse è rinviata. Ipotesi sulle date per il recupero e sui prossimi eventi.
Ciò che si pensava accadesse, è accaduto. Sono di poche ore fa le notizie ufficiali che arrivano dal quartier generale delle World Series of Poker.
A parlare è il Direttore Esecutivo, Ty Stewart:
“Il benessere dei giocatori, lavoratori, media e quanto altro viene prima di tutto. Per questo motivo è stato inevitabile per noi, rinviare la kermesse dalle date previste ad un periodo ancora non definito del prossimo autunno. Lo schedule dei 101 tornei verrà rivisto ed è probabile che molti tornei saranno giocati online attraverso la nostra poker room in estate“.
A poco più di un mese dall’inizio della 51° edizione delle World Serie of Poker, che si sarebbero dovuti disputare tra il 26 maggio ed il 14 luglio, il Covid-19 mette alle strette anche l’evento di poker più grande al mondo. Si parla di rinvio e non di annullamento, l’idea sarebbe quella di far disputare gli eventi nell’autunno del 2020. C’è la possibilità che alcuni eventi si possano giocare online sul sito dell’organizzazione. Alla luce del rinvio si annuncia che la schedule dei tornei verrà sicuramente modificata ed adattata al nuovo periodo di svolgimento. Sicuramente ci sarà spazio per il Main Event da 10.000 dollari
